The vexation of a fool is known at once,
but the prudent ignores an insult.
All a man’s ways seem right to him,
   but Yahuah weighs his heart.
It is a trap for a man to dedicate
   something rashly
and only later to consider his
   vows.
Even a child is known by his
   actions,
by whether his conduct is pure
   and right.
Stop listening to instruction, my
   son,
and you will stray from the words
   of knowledge.
Many are the plans in a man’s
   heart,
but it is Yahuah’s purpose that
   prevails.
He who obeys instructions guards
   his life,
but he who is contemptuous of his
   ways will die.
He who answers before listening –
that is his folly and his shame.
